Today we visited what some people refer to as the 8th wonder of the world, Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, Cambodia. As you know, we have visited many, many temples on our trip already but this set of temples is unlike any others in the world. Angkor Wat is the temple that most well known know in Siem Reap but there are multiple others very close in proximity.

In order to make it to Angkor Wat before sunrise, we hired a Tuk Tuk to drive us at 4:45 am. Upon arrival, it was clear to see why it is referred to as a world wonder. Below are pictures of Angkor Wat as well as a 360 video walking through it.

The lesser known but just as extraordinary temples and sights that we saw today include: The Bayon Temple, Baphoun, Ta Prohm (seen in Tomb Raider), Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang, among others. Below are several photos of these sights:

Needless to say, Nick and I will be going back to see more of the beautiful, ancient ruins of Cambodia during our visit. In the meantime, I hope you have enjoyed the sights we have seen. If you would like to see 360 degree photos, you can check out my Facebook page by clicking the link below!
