After bearing witness to the astonishing views from the day before, Nick and I have decided to revisit the ancient temples. This time, we have chosen a different route of attack. Visiting new and exciting temples even further from the famous Angkor Wat. The first stop we went to was Phnom Bakheng, a temple residing on top of a small mountain.
Arriving at 5:30 am, we quickly made our way up the mountain to the top. There we were able to view the sunrise over the temple and surrounding area. Below is a few photos of the sunrise as well as a 360 time-lapse video of our experience.
As this route we took was not the standard tourist route, it was much less busy making it even more of an experience with nature. We also visited Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, East Mebon, Pre Rup among others. I will let the photos do the talking for me.

Once again, Nick and I have lucked out on weather and have enjoyed a beautiful day in Cambodia. Tomorrow we relax on $4 hammocks, take a Cambodian pottery class and ship off to Shanghai, China. We have heard news that our Wi-Fi may be iffy at best in China. Hope to update you all soon!
